Why are the Wombi's sleeves so "short"?

If the sleeves of the Wombi are not turned down (opened), it can give the impression that the arms are too short. However, our baby sleeping bag is primarily intended to be used with closed sleeves in order to give the children a feeling of security through the resistance on their hands, like in the baby bump. So the Wombi is often used as a support for weaning swaddling.

Even in the womb, babies can only open their hands if they pull them against their body, and it is the same in the Wombi. Because then the tension in the fabric is released, allowing the babies to open their hands in the Wombi.
